Kendall's First Halloween

So, tonight was Kendall's first Halloween, she was a cute fluffy kitty cat. It was a little warm out tonight and her costume was pretty heavy so she only went to a few houses. We also only went to a few houses because we felt silly saying trick or treat for her and then getting candy which she can't eat. Oscar went with us on our journey through the neighborhood, but because he wanted to run and play with all of the other dogs in the neighborhood on our walk and because it was easier to just carry Kendall rather than pull her out of the stroller at every house, Oscar became the baby while the baby became the pet Kitty. Oscar rode around the neighborhood in Kendall's stroller. Lots of people loved it, he was pretty cute in there, especially with the purple boa we found when we were on our way home from the last house.

After we returned from Trick or Treating we sat out in front of the house and passed out candy to all of the other cute kids in the neighborhood. We met another kitty cat that was Kendall Kitty's twin. She was cute and very sleepy by the time she came by our house.

All in all, tonight's adventures were a lot of fun. We look forward to next year when she can walk to more houses and possibly say Trick or Treat on her own where it won't just look like we are going around so we can get candy for ourselves. Ha ha...

Have a Spooky Halloween!!!!

Kendall Goes to a Picnic

Today we went to a picnic for my mommy's work at the Don Strange Ranch. It was a lot of fun! I met a lot of new people and saw a lot of neat things. I hope you like my pictures!
This is my new friend Shannon, she's going to marry my mommy's friend Matt in February. She's really nice.
I got to meet some longhorns. It was cool! I didn't actually feed this one, but I did hold his food pellet for a while. Mmm... Mmm... Good... Just kidding!
Go Longhorns! They won today against Oklahoma, 28-24. Go Horns Go!
I thought this was a fun picture of me standing. Aren't I cool? I'm really getting used to this!

My mommy thinks I'm a camera ham! I just think I look cute!

I love being able to stand up on my own. I feel like such a big girl!

Standing is fun! Hi G3, that's short for Mama Gail, Mimi and Grandma!

We got to see one last Longhorn before we left for the night. His horns are cool!!!

A Day at Home with Kendall

This is Kendall's morning.
I'm looking over my shoulder like a mini-model.
I'm ready for my close up Mr. DeMill. Can you see my teeth?
And, I'm up...
And, I'm down... :-)

And, I'm back up!!! I'm a big girl now and can keep my balance while standing now!

Kendall goes to the Riverwalk

Kendall's first trip to the riverwalk was a lot of fun! She met all kinds of people. They all called her cute and wanted to touch and kiss on her. What a fun time.

Kendall was having fun sitting with Tony's cousin Rocky! She and her friend came into town for a girls' weekend. They stayed near Travis park right next to the river, so Tony and I and Kendall all went to the river to meet up with them for a few drinks while they were town. Kendall was such a good girl, she sat in her stroller most of the time until she started to get bored. When that happened we took her out and passed her around the table to keep her entertained.

Kendall made friends with one of the waitresses at Swig Martini Bar, no, she wasn't in the bar, we sat outside. ;-) This waitress was nice enough to bring us a cup full of olives. Kendall tried little pieces of them and fell in love with them. I guess we will have to keep our pantry stocked full of olives.

Kendall was such a good girl! After we let Rocky and Judy go on their way we met up with Ken and Kristen at Lulu's cafe. Their chicken fried steak is awesome!!!
